Use of This Website
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all information is current, complete or free of errors. Content may be updated or removed without notice.
You may view, download and print pages from this website for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content or remove any copyright or proprietary notices.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes issued by Committas are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and are exclusive of GST unless explicitly noted. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the scope of work changes after the quote is accepted or if material costs fluctuate beyond our control.
Orders and Payment
An order is confirmed when you accept a quote in writing (email or signed document) and any required deposit has been received. Payment terms are net 14 days from the date of invoice unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 2% per month.
Fabrication and Delivery
We will fabricate goods in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Any variation to the agreed scope must be confirmed in writing before work proceeds. Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed; delays caused by material supply, client-requested changes or circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not constitute a breach of these terms.
Risk in the goods passes to the client upon collection from our workshop or delivery to the nominated address. We recommend inspecting goods upon receipt and reporting any damage within 48 hours.
Intellectual Property
All original content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics and design — is owned by Committas or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law. Workshop drawings and design files produced by Committas remain our intellectual property unless a written agreement transfers ownership to the client.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising from the use of this website or the provision of fabrication services is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses, including loss of profit, production downtime or third-party claims.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
